The King was escorted from Kingsfort and taken to Drakenfeld for a session of Congress, along the way, the king and his escorts, Nonnus, Ardan, Ayris, the other dragoons, and Forrest, a soldier met up with some kobolds an easily defeated foe, followed immediately by a mysterious dragoon by the name of Nornn. Ayris and Nornn fought one-on-one with Ayris emerging victorious. Obviously, there is some division in the order of Dragoons. After that battle, the group continued on until they met up with a mysterious man in the forest outside of Drakenfeld, this man, Thalio Nailo, was searching for his parents, Ayris, being the gentle soul he is, agreed to help.
They entered Drakenfeld and the Congress meeting began, with the members all in attendance, and several sitting in, including Thalio Nailo, Nonnus Stormlight, Ardan, and a mysterious man who kept his face covered and his identity secret . The first day was nothing but arguing over pointless issues in concluded without much incident, and the king and his escorts went to the local tavern for some food and spirits. Well, the mysterious man from the congress meeting and taken a liking to the secretary congresswoman from Areolus Keep, and at the tavern, he, after being rejected by her, revealed himself to be a servant of Tiamet! The group slayed him, and then met with Nornn, the dragoon that Ayris had just...killed, or had he? He and Ayris fought again, with Ayris being near mortally wounded this time, the others fought him off, however, and he finally turned into a bat and retreated. They all went to sleep.
The Congress meeting began again anew the next morning, with Ayris and his daddy arguing, and finally, they got onto the subject of why the treasury kept losing money, so Nonnus pointed out that he had noticed the king skimming from the top, and Thrax (High Priest of Bahamut) had the Dragoons arrest the king after that, Thrax was voted as intermediary king, to act as ruler until the king died. Well, the king died of starvation three days after being imprisoned. So, the vote was taken, and Nonnus was crowned king.

Just here to say if you haven't took the quiz on the boards please do. It would be vary helpful in guiding Brandon to making this adventure more interesting. Also if you haven't given him you history do it. It is vital. That is about it. if you have any questions direct then to me or Brandon which ever is more appropriate.

Ardan, Nonnus, Eric, and Alexander met at the gates of Duvik's Pass following their respective journeys. Ardan and Nonnus were uneasy allies and Eric and Alexander are old military buddies. They decided to join forces to take on whatever was going on in the minds of Duvik's Pass. The quartet visited the home of Cristofar Sendar and got the specifics: "A plague has come over this city. A few weeks ago, people began getting ill for no apparent reason, with no apparent source. Following that, miners began to come up missing, and we sent several people in to investigate, and none of them returned either. Please, find the source of this, if you do, I will pay you each 100 gold coins." Hassling the mayor a bit, but agreeing, the quartet delved into the mines. Their trek began uneventfully, meeting only a couple of minor traps along the way, and then they stumbled upon the lair of a band of kobolds that had taken up residence in the mines, the battle that ensued was close with Eric and Alexander falling before the kobold blades. In the end, Ardan and Nonnus triumphed and took their fallen, but not dead, allies back to town to rest. With the death of the last kobold, they delved deeper into the mine, the came upon a circular room, and in that room, met Ayris Drakenfeld, a Dragoon Elite Guard from the capital, and fought off 4 human zombies and 4 kobold zombies, they were wounded badly in this fight, and had to return to Duvik's Pass to recover. Following their recovery, they went deeper in the mine and found the source of the plague, an Orcish Shaman seeking revenge for the death of his tribe. Slaying him, they returned to town and received a heroes welcome, and their promised rewards.
Two weeks passed, and Ayris invited Ardan and Nonnus to a feast at the castle, they ate, drank and were merry (e-mail me for specifics here) and the next morn Nonnus announced that he would marry princess Mary.
